Frazer-Nash wins contract with Horizon Nuclear Power
Frazer-Nash, the systems and engineering technology consultancy, has been awarded a five-year framework contract and three significant work packages by Horizon Nuclear Power, the company which aims to develop and operate around 6,000MW of new nuclear power stations in the UK by 2025. Read more
ADL makes major investment in electric-hybrid technology
A fleet of electric-hybrid buses have taken to the streets of historic Oxford as part of the UK's biggest single investment in green bus technology. The man behind their creation has forecast that Britain has the potential to lead the world with low emission buses that meet the challenge of climate change head-on. Colin Robertson, CEO of Alexander Dennis Limited (ADL) said that early hybrid vehicles produced by his company had now been running in London operations for 20 months, covering almost 600,000 miles. Autodesk searches for designers of the future
Autodesk has launched an online competition to find a 3D design visualisation star. Designers, recent graduates, students and talented young guns are being given the chance to shine and bring their work to the attention of a wider audience - including respected industry experts - in a new design visualisation competition from software developer, Autodesk. Winners of Kompas 3D Modelling contest announced
Ascon Group, developer and integrator of professional CAD/AEC/PLM solutions, is pleased to announce the results of the Kompas 3D Modelling Contest 2010. This year 45 industrial enterprises, which design their products in powerful and cost-effective 3D parametric modelling solution Kompas-3D, took part in the contest. More than 70 projects were presented to the contest.
